Winter Days with Jonas....

Time is flying by so fast. I am so excited that Spring is just around the corner. This winter weather has been quite crazy. One day it's cold and the next it's hot. Weather when will you make up your mind?

It's been challenging finding new things to keep Jonas entertained inside the house. He is getting so big so fast. He is constantly exploring and looking for something to get into. He knows how to keep us on our feet!

We're all looking forward to the sunshine. I can't wait for walks outside and visits to the park. Here are lots of new pics from the past few months. Hope you enjoy!

Jonas loves to be outside. Having fun with Abbie and Baxter.Jonas loves to play in Mommy and Daddy's bathroom. He takes everything out of the drawers and cabinets and puts them all over the place. It's also fun to climb inside the cabinets to hide.
Swinging in the sunshine with Daddy!Time to pose for a few new pics. Our little Valentine.Out to dinner for Daddy's birthday. Time for cake.Something new to play with "sidewalk chalk." I think there ended up being more on Jonas' clothes than on the driveway.

"Is that snow I see?" All bundled up in the snow with Mr. Snowman.

Steps of faith....

Jonas has finally decided to be a little brave. He has been so scared to try this whole "walking" thing. He has been terrified to let go of our hands to take a step on his own. Just within the past week, he has been taking steps on his own. He is still a little clumsy, and he walks holding onto his shirt, as a sense of support and balance. It's the cutest thing ever. But he's finally starting to figure it out.
It's hard to teach a child to trust, when something seems so scary. I started thinking about how the whole "teaching a child to walk" is kind of like trusting Jesus with our own steps and our own daily struggles. Sometimes it takes alot of guts to just let go and trust that He is there for us even if we fall. He is watching us and wants us to learn, that it's okay to be scared. No matter what obstacle we are trying to overcome, Jesus is holding our hand- even though we can't always feel it. We have to have faith like a child. We have to trust and believe that we will overcome and succeed no matter how long it may take us to reach our goal.----I just wanted to share with you a little reminder that Jesus is always watching out for us- even when we seem to have a lack of faith. Be brave, and trust him in EVERYTHING!
